A cooler growing genus of orchids from higher altitudes of South America, with flowers that resemble the faces of monkeys.
The majority of these require cooler growing conditions and are not suitable for warm, sub-tropical areas unless grown in a greenhouse. Dracula lotax is the exception to the rule and do well for us outside in the Lowveld.
